Can a father disinherit his son or daughter from his self-acquired property?
Yes. A person has complete testamentary freedom over their self-acquired property and can bequeath it to anyone via a registered Will or Gift Deed, completely excluding any child. However, self-acquired property cannot be unilaterally denied to legal heirs if the owner dies intestate (without a Will).
